Election Day Officials Needed
If you are interested in working as an Election Official on Election Day please print the Prospective Poll Worker Information sheet and mail it to the Montgomery County Election Commission, P.O. Box 422, Clarkville, TN 37041.
When: Election Day
Where: At your polling place (or one nearby)
Requirements
- Be a registered voter of Montgomery County
- Have energy and stamina
- Have reading skills and clear handwriting
- Enjoy people and service to others
- Willing to attend a training class
- Willing to accept a small payment for a big service
You will be helping to
- Set up the polling room before the polls open
- Set up and operate the voting equipment
- Check that persons are qualified to vote
- Close the polling place
