Judicial Commissioner
Judicial Commissioners are responsible for the issuance of criminal arrest warrants upon finding probable cause. During a probable cause hearing, in accordance with the procedures prescribed by T.C.A. Section 40-5-100, judicial commissionmers set bail and issue mittimus. Three full-time and four part-time Judicial Commissioners are appointed by the Montgomery County Mayor.
