Welcome

The Assessor of Property Online Property Record Card will not display 2024 property values until after the 2024 County-wide Revaluation is approved by the Division of Property Assessments. This has been the standard practice since 2014. The prior 10 years of Assessor appraised values can be found at the parcel level under “Prior Appraised Years” on both property search applications. Please call our office at 931.648.5709 or email us HERE with any questions.

Assessor of Property

As the elected Montgomery County Assessor of Property, I am committed to promoting transparency and public awareness to what we do in the Assessor’s office and I hope this site will assist in that.

The Montgomery County Assessor of Property is charged to discover, value, and list all taxable property in Montgomery County according to the State of Tennessee. This includes conducting a state-mandated County-wide reappraisal every five years; our next reappraisal is scheduled for 2024. The Assessor of Property is a constitutional officer and is elected by the people for a term of four years.
