Mango Languages is a great new resource offered at your library. Used by such entities as the Department of Homeland Security and the Pentagon, Mango Languages features lessons for learning new languages. Over sixty languages are available, and Mango Languages also has a special section on learning English in 15 different languages.
To use Mango Languages, click on the Mango Language icon. Create a profile by typing in your email address and making up a password. This will be what you use to log in to Mango Languages in the future. Now, you can click on “courses” and click on the language you want to learn. From there, you will launch the lessons.
The Dashboard tab shows recently studied courses. You can click on the course to continue where you left off. Under the translate tab, you can quickly translate passages from one language to another. Finally, the support tab is available should you have any technical issues.
To access Mango Languages from home, simply type in your email address and password at the log in screen. If it is your first time logging in from home, you will need to type in your library card number.
